Two Day Survival Course

All two day courses cover the four main elements of survival, Water, Shelter, Fire and Food. These subjects have been broken down into three sections and are delivered in a interactive hands on style giving the group the opportunity to practise each skil

Foliage, Forage and Fire – which include learning about plants that are either poisonous, edible or that can be used for medical purposes.  Collecting food from the local surroundings and making fires using various techniques.

Tracks and Traps - Involves learning about animal behaviour, their routine and where they live.  The day also includes making snares, traps and preparing various game to take away at the end of the day 

Shelter building and Water collection – On this course students will build temporary and emergency shelters using natural materials and items you might find in a survival situation. This course also looks at collecting water from various sources and filtering techniques used to purify water for drinking and cooking
