Team Surfing Activity

Surfing is a surface water sport in which the surfer rides a surfboard on the crest and face of a wave, carrying the surfer towards the shore. It is believed to have originated from ancient Polynesian culture. It is now popular on coastlines around the world.

Surfing is a great fun activity and gives a good workout. Surfing in the UK is growing in popularity. Some say the thrill of catching a good wave is addictive. Once you have mastered the basics, you can go surfing any time the weather looks right. Surfing is suitable for all ages, but we recommend that you are between 7 and 97.

If you’ve never surfed before or can catch waves but can’t stand, or know the basics but need a refresher, then a beginner lesson is for you. You can feel safe knowing we are fully qualified and insured. Surfing instructors have Association of Surfing Instructors Status and are Surf Life Saving GB Lifeguards, Trainers and Coaches.

Surfing can be added to other coastal activities like sea kayaking or coasteering to make a great multi-activity weekend trip.
