Leardership Challange Expedition South Wales

Brief Outline:
A week long trekking expedition in the Brecon Beacons walking through the National Park stopping at breath taking locations, learning about the countryside and habitat.
During the week the group will experience an action packed expedition full of experiences that the group will keep with them for life
Along the way they will have the work as a team to navigate through their route, overcome problems, and survive with a fixed budget and limited equipment.    
TAAUK Expeditions are specifically designed to encourage young adults to think for themselves and work as a team to promote key skills invaluable to their development in life
The Expedition can also be used in conjunction with anyone undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and log books will be completed once the group has finished.

Monday – Arrive / Plan route / Start Expedition / Camp
Tuesday – Trek / Problem Solving Exercise / Camp
Wednesday – Trek / Summit Pen Y Fan (886m) / Camp
Thursday – Climbing / Abseiling / Gorge Scrambling / Camp
Friday – Open Boating on the River Wye
