Survival School Basic Two Day Course
Brief Outline:
Foliage, Forage and Fire
Learning about plants that are either poisonous, edible or that can be used for medical purposes. Collecting food from the local surroundings and making fires using various techniques.
Tracks and Traps
This course involves learning about animal behaviour, their routine and where they live. The day also includes making snares, traps and preparing various game to take away at the end of the day
Shelter building and Water collection
On this course students will build temporary and emergency shelters using natural materials and items you might find in a survival situation. This course also looks at collecting water from various sources and filtering techniques used to purify water for drinking and cooking
Survival Home
The next Ultimate Survival Course will be held around Herefordshire and includes accommodation on the Friday night (you build your own on Saturday).
